TO CELEBRATE THE END OF THE SEASON IN STYLE

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

CONCEPT : RUN, CHILL, SMILE

Since its creation, LG TRAIL has upheld the values of adventure and trail friendship spirit. We see the effort in the mountains as a way to connect, to share unique moments, and to foster camaraderie. That’s why we created the RACETAFARI, the perfect blend of performance and community trail spirit… to push our limits together and celebrate together.

The event features trail races (with rankings) in an exceptional environment, followed by a performance from the brilliant Yohann Métay: La tragédie du dossard 512 (show in french language)

Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner, a casual jogger, or simply a spectator, get ready for an incredible day!

THE RACE

The course is a stunning loop through nature, with a climb toward the two iconic peaks of the region: La Barillette and La Dôle. After reaching La Barillette, the 12KM route descends to Couvaloup and then to Saint-Cergue.

For the 23KM and 40KM routes, the climb continues to La Dôle via the Col de Porte. On one side, endless forests suggesting the vastness of the Jura mountain range; on the other, possibly one of the most breathtaking mountain panoramas in Europe, with a 180° view over Lake Geneva and the entire Alpine chain, from Grenoble to Bern. At the center, Mont Blanc stands tall, watching over us as we move along this magnificent ridge. A true sky running moment! This is the highest point of the race.

The descent leads to the wide-open spaces of La Givrine and its dry stone walls. At this stage, the 40KM route takes on a 16KM loop towards the Fruitières de Nyon with their impressive views. The route then continues toward the charming wooden hamlet of Couvaloup, before finishing along the Saint-Cergue ski slopes to reach the finish line.

THE SHOW

The show “La tragédie du dossard 512” by Yohann Métay is the reference of humor in our discipline: trail running. It’s a wildly funny one-man show that tells, with great self-deprecation, the madness of ultra-trails. Inspired by his own experience in the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB®), Yohann humorously recounts the story of an average guy discovering ultra-trail, and all the euphoria, doubt, suffering, and absurdity that every long-distance runner goes through.

With hilarious anecdotes, spot-on caricatures of trail runners, and brutally honest truths about mountain running, the show makes both enthusiasts and newcomers laugh out loud. It’s a tribute to runners… and their lovely madness… to our madness.

PLEASE NOTE: The show is open to companions and external guests, but seating is limited (the venue holds a maximum of around 300 people).
